Seven summers strong and hundreds of athletes, all on one team. Formerly ZHoops Camps, Altair Athletics carries everything that made ZHoops special: high energy, real skill development, competitive games, and a place where kids feel seen.
Now elevated with pro-level coaching, upgraded facilities, and a sharper daily structure, our mission remains simple. Campers leave stronger, more skilled, more confident, and with a lifelong love of the game.

Why Altair athletics?
Altair is the brightest star in the Summer Triangle, visible in early summer across the Northern Hemisphere. The name comes from the Arabic phrase meaning "The Flying Eagle," and in Greek mythology, Altair is the eagle that carried Zeus's thunderbolts. It represents speed, strength, elevation, and flight. That's what we aim for.
We don't just run drills. We build players who see the floor better, move faster, depend on one another, compete harder, and lead louder.

Altair Athletics is led by a core team that has been working together for over five years, combining high-level playing experience with a shared passion for teaching the game. Founded by former collegiate player Zander Colman and professional guard Savion Lewis, the program blends elite basketball knowledge with a commitment to developing young athletes both on and off the court.
